Special forces are often paid poorly because their compensation is not solely based on their salary. Special forces personnel often receive additional benefits such as hazard pay, combat pay, and other allowances. Additionally, the demanding nature of their work often means they are frequently deployed and may not have the same opportunities for overtime or additional income as other military personnel. Furthermore, the specialized training and skills required for special forces roles may limit the number of available positions, which can impact their bargaining power for higher pay. **

Women in special forces units face unique challenges due to the physical and mental demands of the job, as well as the traditionally male-dominated culture of these units. However, many women have successfully integrated into special forces units and have proven themselves to be highly capable and effective operators. Efforts to increase diversity and inclusion in special forces units are ongoing, and it is important to continue supporting and advocating for the inclusion of women in these elite military roles. **
